TRIATHLON at Clean Fuel Horizons

The upcoming Clean Fuel Horizons workshop in Prague on 26 May will highlight some of the most promising advances in hydrogen technologies for sustainable aviation. As part of the programme, two experts from the TRIATHLON project will contribute insights into key developments shaping the future of clean fuel systems.

Julien van Campen will present on multi‑state hydrogen fuel systems for aviation, focusing on the challenges and opportunities related to storage, transport, and conditioning. His contribution will explore how integrated fuel system design can support the transition toward hydrogen‑powered aircraft.

Christoph Ebert will address the development of Type V storage tanks for cryo‑compressed hydrogen, outlining the material and engineering challenges associated with enabling safe, lightweight, and efficient storage solutions. His presentation will shed light on the technological breakthroughs required to advance next‑generation hydrogen storage materials.

Together, these contributions will offer a comprehensive view of the technologies driving progress in sustainable aviation fuels, from system‑level design to advanced material development.
