M18 Review Meeting Highlights

On August 20th, representatives from the TRIATHLON consortium convened in Brussels for the M18 Review Meeting.

The meeting provided an opportunity to present and discuss the latest progress across the project’s technical work packages. These included hydrogen conditioning requirements (WP1), thermodynamics controlled storage (WP2), thermal management and thermodynamic performance (WP3), and system-level analysis and technology roadmap (WP4). In addition to the technical discussions, we also addressed dissemination and exploitation strategies to ensure the project’s results are effectively communicated and translated into real-world impact. Each work package showcased significant developments, reflecting the dedication and expertise of the teams involved.

We appreciated the thoughtful feedback and recommendations from our Project Officer, Hugues Felix. His insights will play an important role in shaping the next phases of the project and keeping us aligned with our long-term goals.

The session proved highly productive, allowing us to address current challenges, refine our technical direction, prioritize upcoming tasks, and define next steps. It also reinforced the collaborative spirit of the consortium and our shared commitment to innovation in clean energy.

We are grateful to CINEA – the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency – for their continued support and funding of the TRIATHLON project.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue working toward a more sustainable future through advanced hydrogen storage solutions.
