Cooling hydrogen-electric aviation—thanks to ceramic innovation

As part of the TRIATHLON project, our partner Lithoz has published a press release highlighting their latest breakthrough: 3D-printed ceramic heat exchanger (HEX) made from aluminium nitride (AIN) designed to cool hydrogen powertrains for megawatt-class aircraft.

This innovation contributes to eliminating the need for cryogenic hydrogen pumps—reducing complexity, improving efficiency, and advancing the path toward zero-emission aviation.
